Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Huddersfield followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Huddersfield. In the International Year One program, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The International Foundation Year One in Engineering & Computer Science will help you establish subject knowledge and English. This program will also prepare you to join in the second year of your intended undergraduate degree at the University of Huddersfield. With smaller class sizes and additional support to help you develop your academic knowledge. The modules and subjects you study will be akin to the same content you can expect in your chosen undergraduate degree, subjects are dependent on your chosen field of study.
The energy industry generates and distributes electrical power on a large scale, and there is a growing need to improve how we all use energy in our daily lives, to reduce our impact on the environment. Identifying renewable and sustainable energy sources are vital to preserving the world we live in, and finding new ways of generating energy is a challenge for society now, and in the future.
