About 2-Semester Pathway - Pre-Master's Programme - Business and Economics - Master of Science - Social Research
The Pre-Master's Program is a two semester program, with guaranteed progression to a wide range of Business-related Master’s degrees at the University of Hull. Candidates will study the Master's program at the University of Hull ONCAMPUS Centre located at the heart of the University of Hull campus.
This program is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom and will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods. They will need these skills during their Master’s degree studies. Depending on the length of the program candidates may study, they will also study academic modules relating to their chosen progression route.
The Master of Science in Social Research is the ideal postgraduate course for keen researchers who are naturally curious, interested in complexity, and ready to apply their practical skills in the real world.
Students will examine issues across the social sciences drawing from quantitative and qualitative research methods. The program uses an inquiry-based approach which encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and independent study in a chosen specialist area within social research.
