The International Year Zero – Business enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their knowledge in business, economics, statistics and data analysis which opens up a variety of career opportunities.
The International Year Zero (IYZ) is the first year of a 4-year International Incorporated Bachelors (IIB). The first year is taught at University of Kent International College (UK IC). Once students successfully complete this year, they will continue studying the remaining stages of their degree at the University.
The University of Kent’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) Accounting and Finance graduates move into a range of careers within the world of business. Many go on to become chartered, certified or management accountants working at top accounting firms, including the ‘Big 4’, as well as other local, national and international firms.
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) Accounting and Finance course is accredited by five professional accounting bodies, allowing students to gain exemptions from their exams and kickstart their career if they want to become a chartered accountant, or gain an edge if they see themselves working in the fields of finance.
