About International Foundation Year - Continue to Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - Medicine and Surgery
The foundation forms the first academic year, and this prepatory year is taught at the National Centre for Remote and Rural Medicine at our Westlakes Campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
During this first year, you will learn scientific communication skills, fundamental biomedical sciences, and mathematics that, after your foundation year, you will apply to normal human body functioning and then later the disease state.
As part of the course assessments you will undertake both components of the Medical Licensing Assessment, so will graduate with this completed.
