Bachelor of Business Administration - Second Degree - General Management (Optional Co-op)

The Dhillon School of Business can help students earn a second degree to broaden their knowledge or change their career direction.

 

This is an individualized program of 15 to 25 courses. Full-time students can complete the program in 1.5 - 2.5 years, and they may be able to accelerate their program by attending summer sessions. Students have up to 10 years to complete the degree.

 

Management is leading others to accomplish common goals in business. Today’s managers are people oriented, creative, adaptable and strong communicators. They have to know how to deal effectively with rapidly changing environments, work successfully with small and large teams, live and work by principles of ethics and social responsibility and be aware of responsibilities to sustainability.

 

General management will study topics such as marketing, organizational behavior, introductory accounting, managing responsibly in a global environment, human resources management, policy and strategy and probability and statistics. They will draw from fields such as history, English, political science, economics and sociology.
