About Bachelor of Music - Sound Recording Technology
UMass Lowell's Sound Recording Technology (SRT) program has been training successful audio professionals for over thirty years.
Students will take at least nine courses in the art and technology of recording. The program also includes traditional studies in music as well as courses in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, and advanced mathematics.
Sound recording technology is one of UMass Lowell's signature programs and one of the few programs of its kind in the United States. Through coursework, students will gain the practical and theoretical background needed for success in the industry.
