About ESL Bridge Program
UNLV’s English Bridge Program is a credit-bearing program designed for international students on an F-1 visa who are admitted to an academic program, but do not meet the language proficiency criteria for full admission. This Program prepares students for the rigor of academic study in college. Students who successfully complete the ESL Bridge Program with a 3.0 GPA and no failing grades in all four classes in Level 6 or Level 7 receive a waiver for the standardized language test and advance to their major of choice at UNLV.
This Program offers two levels:
- Level 7: ESL for Graduate Students
- Level 6: Academic ESL
