About Bachelor of Arts - Anthropology

Program Description

Anthropologists study humans: who people are, what they do, what they say, what they look like, and what they believe in.

At UNB, Anthropology is a holistic discipline, meaning students will examine humans, both past and present, as biological, cultural, and social beings. Students will explore three central subfields – sociocultural anthropology, archeology, and biological anthropology – and students will have access to the expanded lab facility that includes a vast collection of human, hominid, and primate teaching specimens.

People use a range of learning styles and innovative teaching methods, and students incorporate findings from research. The small class sizes mean greater interaction between students, their instructors, and their peers.
