About Bachelor of Arts - Economics (Optional Co-op)

Program Description

Economics is about answering how and why. How and why do we produce, distribute, and purchase the goods and services? How and why do people address problems? How and why do people make decisions? When people attempt to answer those questions, they attempt to understand Economics.

In the Economics program at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, students will learn to use analytical, mathematical, and statistical techniques to answer questions and solve problems. Students will examine the roles individuals, consumers, small businesses, managers, CEOs, and politicians play in shaping both the Canadian and global economies.

Interactive classes with award-winning instructors provide opportunities for students to debate, question, and work closely with their instructors and peers.
