About Bachelor of Arts - Psychology - Clinical Psychology

In Bachelor of Arts - Psychology - Clinical Psychology program, students will learn to understand, and arrive at explanations for, a person’s thoughts and emotions. They will examine psychology from clinical, cognitive, developmental, personality, physiological, and social perspectives. The classroom studies will then be brought to life in the laboratory and the clinic as well as in personal settings.

  • Clinical Psychology
  • Community and Society
  • General Psychology
Program Outcomes:
  • Knowledge Base of Psychology Students will demonstrate familiarity with the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, ethical principles, and historical trends in psychology.
  • Research Methods in Psychology Students will understand and apply basic research methods in psychology, including research design, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Critical Thinking Skills in Psychology Students will use critical and creative thinking, skeptical inquiry, reflection, and, when possible, the scientific approach to solve problems related to behavior and mental processes.
  • Communication in Psychology Students will learn how to communicate competently and in a scholarly manner about psychological concepts in writing and orally.
