The Biomedical Engineering graduate program at University of New Mexico is the only BME program in the State of New Mexico. The program is inherently interdisciplinary, with faculty from across the School of Engineering, the UNM School of Medicine and the College of Arts & Sciences. The faculty and students are talented and diverse,there are students who are coming from the groups that are traditionally under-represented in science and engineering (e.g., women, minorities, veterans, and students with disabilities). The University graduates find employment in national laboratories, industry, and academia.
