About Master of Music - Conducting
Students in the Master of Music Conducting program receive individualized instruction with graduate conducting faculty (instrumental and choral), along with ample podium time with university ensembles including choral ensembles, symphony orchestra, symphonic band, wind symphony, and others.
The program is set apart by outstanding performance opportunities and comprehensive scholarly training in score study, music literature, history, theory and analysis. Opportunities for electives and applied study further enhance the experience of conducting graduates.
Recent students in the program have been accepted to prestigious doctoral programs, summer fellowships and training programs, and have developed successful careers as conductors of ensembles at all levels.
