2-Semester Pathway - Foundation Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and Psychology - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Biomedical Science

Students will explore a wide range of specialisms, from animal behavior and human biosciences to psychology once they have successfully completed the Biological and Biomedical Foundation program. The University of Plymouth champions experiential learning in the laboratory and in the field, with progression degrees including an optional placement year to help them gain valuable real-world experience.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science will experience research-informed education by exploring the scientific basis of human health, disease and therapeutics. They will benefit from a rich and varied learning environment that highlights recent developments and examines how these inform clinical and diagnostic practice. Students will receive the input of internationally-recognized researchers and National Health Service (NHS) staff and open up a range of employment opportunities in both industrial and public research laboratories.
