Recent changes in finance – including the emergence of financial technology and the focus on sustainability – have necessitated changes throughout the industry. Additionally, globalization has led to the growing significance of multinational firms – spanning multiple countries and industries – and the consequent need to manage business operations in an increasingly complex environment.

Develop the key skills and knowledge to meet these changes head-on, as students gain a deep understanding of finance and the financial services industry.

In the third year, students will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a real-world setting with the Work Placement module. Staff will support students to find and secure a placement that's right for them. As well as enriching their studies, an industry placement can be an excellent way to: deepen students' knowledge and develop new skills, build a network of industry contacts, boost their employability with new experiences, and learn more about the sector students may wish to enter.
