3-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Life Sciences - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Ecology and Wildlife Conservation (with Professional Experience)

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare for degree study and are assured progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. This program is specifically tailored for international students who have completed their senior secondary education, with the aim of helping them gain entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Upon successful completion of the University Foundation Program with the required level of achievement in all academic areas and the necessary English language score, students will automatically transition to an undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The University Foundation Program is set at NQF level 3, which is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom.

Most programs last for one academic year, divided into three terms consisting of seven to eight teaching weeks and one examination week. On average, students will participate in 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

In the BSc Ecology and Wildlife Conservation with Professional Experience program, students will explore the interactions between living organisms and their environment and apply this knowledge to address global challenges. This course will provide students with the necessary skills for a career in ecology or wildlife conservation through a combination of classroom learning and practical field experience. Students will learn to apply ecosystem knowledge to environmental issues such as habitat conservation, disease control, and the protection of endangered plants and animals.
