4-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Business - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Business Economics (with Placement Year)

At ONCAMPUS Reading, students are able to prepare for degree study with the opportunity for guaranteed progression to a variety of undergraduate degrees at the University of Reading. The program is specifically designed to ready international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry into undergraduate studies at the University of Reading. Upon successful completion of the University Foundation Program to the required level of attainment in all academic areas and achievement of the necessary English language score, students will be able to seamlessly transition to a suitable undergraduate program at the University of Reading. The University Foundation Program is set at NQF level 3, which is equivalent to A level standard in the United Kingdom.

Most programs last for one academic year (nine months) and are divided into three terms of seven to eight teaching weeks each, along with one examination week. On average, students will engage in 21 (and up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

The BSc Business Economics with a Placement Year degree program is designed to cultivate specialized knowledge in business economics. During the first two years, students will complete many of the same core modules as the BSc Economics program to ensure they develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as economists. Subsequently, students will gain specialized knowledge in business economics throughout their second and final years.
