Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Civil Engineering

University of Saskatchewan redesigned first-year engineering at to help student's succeed and make engineering more fun. The school calls it the new first year Re-Engineered. It’s the only program of its kind in Canada and will get student's excited and inspired about engineering.

In Re-Engineered, instead of high-stakes exams, student's will do more assignments and quizzes so they can improve their mark if they stumble early. Daily tutorials are part of the schedule so student's can get help when they need it. Instead of final exams, they will explore the different branches of engineering in hands-on courses.

Student's will choose an engineering specialty – known as a major, or discipline – at the end of first year. This is the area they will study in-depth in the upper-years classes.
