About Academic Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Business Economics

The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program for international graduates with good English-language skills. It supplements immersive classes taught in English with just the right amount of support.

As a student in the Academic Accelerator, learners will receive:
  • The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs
  • A full year’s worth of college credits
  • Access to courses exclusively for international students
  • English-language help with words they need to know for their classes
  • A mix of classes with international and the United States students.
The learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Science Business Administration in  Business Economics:
  • Graduates will achieve an acceptable pass rate on questions related to the following core microeconomic concepts: (a) Consumer utility maximization (b) Producer profit maximization (c) Equilibrium and welfare analysis under different market structures (d) Importance of externalities
  • They will achieve an acceptable pass rate on questions related to the following core macroeconomic concepts: (a) Determination of full-employment output and growth (b) Money creation and inflation (c) Employment and output fluctuations over the business cycle (d) Fundamentals of macroeconomic policy
  • Graduates will achieve be able to: (a) Solve basic equations to find equilibrium outcomes (b) Use graphs to understand and interpret economic relationships.
