About Extended Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Engineering - Biomedical Engineering
The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) combines language, culture and academics to give students a deep understanding of life in and out of the American classroom and includes personalized English-language instruction and tutoring.
As a student in the Extended Accelerator, learners will get:
- A contextual curriculum that mixes language, culture and academics

- Extensive English-language tutoring, academic advising and student support

The learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Science Engineering in Biomedical Engineering:
- Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
- Ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
- Ability to develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgement to draw conclusions.
- Ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
