About 3-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Programme - Computer Science - continue to Bachelor of Science - Computing (Honours)

The International Foundation Programme (IFP) Computer Science prepares students for university study in the UK. It helps them develop their academic skills and improve their ability to use English in an academic context, together with building students' subject knowledge.

By studying an International Foundation Programme – Computer Science students will have the opportunity to:
  • Study in a friendly environment alongside other international students
  • Develop subject knowledge in the Computer Science field
  • Discover and develop the core skills that are expected at the University
  • Prepare to manage one's time and learn independently
  • Gradually adjust to academic study at University and life in the UK
  • Explore and learn subject knowledge relevant for one's chosen degree and future career
  • Experience academic assessments to prepare for undergraduate study

Studying on the International Foundation Programme – Computer Science Pathway will also allow  students to explore the subject area which they have chosen for their studies at undergraduate degree level.

Following the successful completion of the International Foundation Programme - Computer Science at USW, with a pass mark of at least 40% in each module, students will be able to progress on to the undergraduate degree programme they applied for at the University of South Wales.
