About 3-Semester Pathway - Pre-Master's Programme with Pre-Sessional English - Master of Arts - Contemporary Curating
The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Program is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The program will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master’s degree studies.
The duration of the Level 6 program is two semesters. Each semester consists of a minimum of 13 teaching weeks. Students will be expected to timetable self-study hours in addition to the classroom-based hours. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the program and to allow candidates to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate program.
The Master of Arts in Contemporary Curating gives graduates the theoretical, research and practical skills to work as a curator anywhere in the world. They will get professional experience managing projects in the Winchester Gallery, with unique access to the University’s vast network of practicing artists, academics and researchers who will inform and inspire their curatorial practice.
