The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates in the Bachelor of Engineering in Acoustical Engineering will learn to make the world sound better, with a specialist knowledge of acoustics, vibration and how they affect us. This degree specializes in sound and human's response to it. This acoustical engineering course looks at acoustics - the science of sound and vibration - is applied in technology. It has many applications, including:
- design of cars
- 3D-audio systems
- designing concert halls
- reducing aircraft noise
- using ultrasound to fight antimicrobial resistance.
