The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Biochemistry answers the ultimate questions working of living organisms. It covers topics from Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) to proteins, single molecules to cells, all the way up to complex lifeforms. Graduates will study the molecular processes of life itself, and gain the skills to become a biochemist. The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry course will let them explore the biochemical sciences, and develop their laboratory skills.
