Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. Advancement into the intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

Studying on the PGDE (Secondary) Physical Education course is a rewarding and absorbing experience and students go on to enjoy busy careers where their skills are in great demand due to the reputation for high quality which the University of Strathclyde enjoys within the teaching profession.

The Teacher Induction Scheme is a scheme whereby eligible applicants are guaranteed a job for a year in a Scottish school. Most PGDE students will be eligible and eligibility is ascertained on a case-by-case basis. Students who successfully complete probation are eligible for full registration status.
