Program Description
Students of the BVMSci Veterinary Medicine and Science course will explore animal health and disease and receive specialist training in veterinary science and its associated disciplines, preparing them for successful and rewarding careers.
This exciting five-year course has been created to encourage interdisciplinary collaborations in animal and human health. In addition to studying towards a professional veterinary medicine qualification, students will receive training in the core sciences and develop professional and business skills.
State-of-the-art facilities, such as the University of Surrey's Veterinary Clinical Skills Centre and Veterinary Pathology Centre, will give students hands-on practical, clinical and research training right from the start.
The course modules have been designed by practitioners and the university's veterinary partners provide opportunities for students to gain outstanding clinical experience with both general practice and referral-type caseload.
