Program Description
This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the International Year One programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.
The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. English language and career skills are combined with subject-specific modules such as social sciences, cultural studies, and a variety of business skills such as accounting, finance and business management to provide you with a strong foundation for your chosen business, media and social sciences degree.
This Master of Arts in Digital Media looks at digital media within the contexts of media and cultural studies. We draw from across the disciplines of sociology, politics, philosophy, art and design, and informatics. Combine theoretical and practical approaches to digital media. Taught by some of the most influential researchers in the field today, you’ll develop the skills, knowledge and expertise to produce excellent research-led work.
You’ll gain experience of designing and developing digital media products. You’ll also learn about:
- the history of digital media
- the key concepts shaping current thinking about digital media
- the intellectual debates in digital culture, digital humanities and computational media.
