Bachelor of Arts - Classics

Classics is the study of the ancient Greek and Roman world in all its aspects: languages, literature, history, culture, archaeology, and art. This program's courses cover an enormous span of time from the first human occupation in this region about 3 million years ago to the fall of the Western Roman empire in 476 CE.  University of Tennessee Knoxville's students engage with a wide array of times, places, and methods both in the classroom and at their archaeological field projects in Greece and Morocco.
