Program Description

The Advanced Master’s Accelerator Program (Advanced MAP) is a one-semester, pre-master’s program designed specifically for international students who are ready to succeed in immersive English-speaking classrooms, but who also want the benefit of English-language and academic training that will help them succeed in their postgraduate program. The program curriculum offers a balance of degree-specific and MAP-exclusive courses. Students will be equipped with the practical, degree-specific vocabulary and research skills they need to excel in their coursework.

The Master of Science in Engineering Science (MSES) program is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis.

Program learning objectives:

• Employ problem-solving, design, and research skills necessary to operate in the interdisciplinary arena of engineering and computer science
• Demonstrate expertise in at least one of the engineering science concentrations represented in the MSES program
• Engage in intellectual inquiry and address new challenges in engineering and computer science
