Program Description

If students have completed high school with good grades but don’t qualify for entry to an undergraduate degree, they could study an International Year One, which combines university preparation with degree 1st year.

BEng Mechanical Engineering is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Develop an understanding of stress analysis, dynamics, heat transfer, mechatronics, materials and manufacture, and maths. Choose modules in a way that allows students to specialize with their chosen career in mind. Gain an inside track on the profession through factory visits and professional briefings with industry-leading organizations across the UK.

This course is developed alongside UWE Bristol's partner employers to make sure they're industry ready when they graduate. They also provide students with placement opportunities, as well as advice on CV-writing, interview techniques and industry issues.
