Students in the Academic Accelerator receive:
- The right amount of support for their academic and English-speaking needs
- A full year’s worth of college credits
- Access to courses exclusively for international students
- English-language help with words they need to know for their classes
- A mix of classes with international and U.S. students
Anthropology is the comparative, evolutionary and historical study of humans, and nonhuman primates. The Department of Anthropology is currently divided into four subdisciplines: Behavioral Ecology, Cultural Anthropology, Biological Anthropology and Archaeology. Students interested in a specific sub-discipline should consider an emphasis, otherwise the major in Anthropology (no emphasis) is designed to give students a wide range of flexibility in choosing classes from any of the four divisions. Optional emphases allow students to specialize in certain areas within the Anthropology Major. Choose from:
- Archaeological Sciences
- Cultural Anthropology
- Evolutionary Anthropology
- Health
