Bachelor of Arts - Theatre

Students drawn to the stage can dance and sing their way to the University of West Florida Department of Theatre, where they’ll be immersed in pre-professional training from experienced performers. The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre ensures students can find their niche, whether it's teaching, directing, stage management, dramaturgy or a second major.

Experienced and professionally engaged faculty members make up the cornerstone of the Department of Theatre at University of West Florida.

Each faculty member is actively involved in various performance companies outside the University including professional theatre, opera and dance, enhancing the experience students will receive by ensuring the education offered is the most up-to-date pre-professional training. 

Students will work one-on-one work with faculty members and explore a wide range of realized production opportunities. Students will be encouraged to become involved in their first semester on campus and receive a wide-range of opportunities in all areas of theatre.
