Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Finance

Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Finance. provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in corporate financial management, financial institutions management, investments and financial planning. The program also provides the foundation for pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst or Certified Financial Planning designations.

The College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, known as AACSB International, something fewer than 4.7% of business schools worldwide can say.

As part of the foundation in finance education, students will learn to identify and analyze key elements that comprise finance problems/opportunities; select and apply appropriate frameworks for solving problems; integrate the functional areas that comprise finance; develop effective written presentations; and recognize legal and ethical issues that occur in business. 

Finance students will gain a broad business background with exposure to areas such as accounting, management, marketing, data analytics, and business ethics. Students will also take courses focusing on the areas of investments, corporate finance, and financial institutions that will provide the knowledge needed to succeed in a wide variety of finance careers.
