About Bachelor of Science - Construction Management

Bachelor of Science - Construction Management program prepares students for a career in construction management. Construction professionals are in heavy demand in any of several construction-related careers. Students will learn highly transferable skills, such as project management, estimating, scheduling, construction finance and contract administration. These skills provide students with the necessary foundation and technical expertise to adapt to a continually evolving workforce.

Students in the Construction Management program will study a variety of construction methods and techniques, planning and layout, site preparation, building materials, building codes, and construction safety. Students will also learn about contracting, scheduling and business management. The program contributes two years of equivalent experience toward the residential or general contractor's exam. Students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to meet future professional challenges in the construction industry. Coursework provides students with applied learning and field experiences in face-to-face and online learning environments.
