Athletic trainers are health care professionals educated to provide management of health care problems associated with sport and physical activity. An Master of Science in Athletic Training from University of West Florida will give students the skills they need — and a competitive edge in the job market.
University of West Florida's new Master of Science in Athletic Training program will prepare students for a successful career in high school athletics, college/university athletics, professional sport teams, industry, medical clinics and other settings.
As an athletic trainer, students will help prevent injuries and illnesses; provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of acute and/or chronic injuries; and return patients to sport or activity.
