About Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Biological Sciences - Integrative Biology (NSB)

Program Description

Students in this program will take both Biological Science and Psychology.

In Biological Science, students will study the fundamentals of life in this flexible program that lets them blaze their trail. Specialize in microbiology, cellular development, environmental and evolutionary biology, population and ecosystem ecology, or any combination of these areas. Students will learn research techniques in the new labs and out in the field that will prepare them for a wide range of career paths, ranging from interests at the molecular level, to whole organism (including humans) and/or the more complex community and ecosystem levels.

Get inside people’s brains in the University of Windsor's Psychology program that lets students discover why people think and act the way they do. Major in psychology alone or do a combined honours with another discipline. Students will start their program with an introduction to Psychology course for psych majors only, where they get to work in small groups led by mentors to help them along. They can do research and community placements throughout their undergraduate years. The three-year General Psychology program provides a broad base of knowledge concerning many aspects of human behaviour and experience. The University of Windsor's Honours Psychology program includes advanced courses in various areas of psychology and prepares students to apply for non-psychology professional degrees. The Honours Psychology with Thesis program provides advanced courses in psychology research methods and statistics and prepares students to apply for MA and PhD degrees in psychology.
