Program Description
We live in an interconnected world where transportation is the great enabler for trade, tourism and development. When managed properly, goods and people move efficiently all over the globe. Transportation networks normally operate so well that industry relies on just-in-time deliveries and retail websites can promise next-day service. Transportation and logistics managers are essential to the smooth operation of this complex, highly technical, constantly changing system. Students in the University of Wisconsin-Superior's Transportation and Logistics Management (TLM) program are prepared to be leaders who have the knowledge and skills to manage and implement the operational aspects of transportation modes, plan logistics systems, and manage supply chains. That is why graduates of the TLM program are in high demand by business and government employers worldwide.
Program Outcomes
Students majoring in Transportation and Logistics Management will:
