The University of York International Pathway College is part of the University of York, and offers pathway courses to prepare students for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Students take part in extensive laboratory sessions and hands-on project work, during which they will have the chance to build an innovative medical device, a maze-solving robot and an autonomous underwater vehicle.
In their final two years, they will develop a specialist knowledge of micro-mechanical engineering, focussing on the intricacies of working with miniaturised technology. Students will also be able to choose a number of option modules, meaning they can learn more about other aspects of the discipline.
