College Diploma - VR/AR Design and Development

Vancouver Community College and Vancouver Film School have partnered to create a cross-institutional joint diploma program in VR/AR Design & Development. This program creates an opportunity for students who don’t meet the requirements of the 8-month program at VFS, and to elevate the quality of student projects coming out of the program. Students are also provided with the opportunity to complete a practicum in the growing VR/AR ecosystem in Vancouver, which will help address the labor shortages in the industry. Post-Graduation Work Permit is issued for the duration of full-time studies at VCC, which is an eligible Designated Learning Institution.

Term 1 of this program will run Monday to Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, excluding elective courses. Terms 2 and 3 are offered at Vancouver Film School and will likely be Monday to Friday, complete registration information will be provided by VFS upon registration. Term 4 is a Practicum and will be based on practicum placement.
