About Afternoon Elective (10 lessons/week)
VanWest College offers English courses that meet the demands of individuals. Under the guidance of personally assigned student advisors, students will receive individual attention and personalized education plans.
The overarching aim of the program is to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing as well as sub skills, such as grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. The ESL program will develop and strengthen oral/spoken and written English skills. Students will learn how to apply strategies for language learning from beginner to advanced levels.
With Afternoon Elective courses, students will be able to tailor their coursework to suit their personal needs and areas necessary for improvement. With offers from beginner to advanced levels, electives offer those with various levels of English proficiency the opportunity to learn.
