Program Description
Construction projects, from buildings to roads and other types of infrastructure, are a constant in today’s society, and construction managers are needed to coordinate the many aspects of these large-scale projects from beginning to end. A Construction Manager supervises and implements the effective management of the project’s schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function. Construction Management is an exciting and multifaceted career that requires a wide range of skills and expertise from engineering and business knowledge, to communication skills and time management.
Construction Management is defined as a professional service that uses specialized, project management techniques to oversee the planning, design, and construction of a project, from its beginning to its end. A Construction Manager provides a project’s owner(s) with effective management of the project’s schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function.
