Program Description
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers courses of study leading to the Master of Arts (MA) in communication sciences and disorders. Academic and clinical education is provided for students who wish to become professionally qualified to work with children and adults. Instructional areas include communication sciences, speech-language pathology, and clinical and rehabilitative audiology. A graduate program culminating in a master’s degree is required for professional certification as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools and for work in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, or private practice.Similar Programs
