About Bachelor of Arts - Religion and Culture with Management Option (Optional Co-op) (UMB)

In the Bachelor of Arts - Religion and Culture program, students will explore the rich diversity of faiths in many regions of the world and study how religion interacts with culture. They will discover and discuss issues relating to human rights, religious rights and freedoms, the status of women, identity and belonging, inter-group conflict and coexistence in a multicultural society. Students will examine ancient and contemporary spiritual experiences using data such as sacred texts, oral narratives and works of visual or performing art.

Graduates of the Religion and Culture program include, but are not limited to, social workers, teachers, professors, counsellors, librarians, editors, government workers, community organizers, filmmakers, artists, and writers.

The fundamentals of business are at the heart of any organization and many careers. For students who complete their degree in an Arts, Economics, Science or Music program, Wilfrid Laurier University's Management option will provide them with an understanding of the core principles of the business world, including accounting, marketing, human resources, operations, policy, and finance.

Co-op is a way to integrate what students are learning in the classroom with practical experience in their field of study. They will build their resume, earn money, develop their network, and graduate with work experience.
