Bachelor of Science - Music Education

The innovative Music Education curriculum at Jewell offers students an opportunity to develop the skills necessary to thrive in the modern music classroom. Jewell purposely offers coursework in Orchestra, Band and Choir and at all levels K-12 to every major, so when students graduate they are ready to enter the job market with real-world skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to be a successful music teacher in the 21st century. Students will observe in schools as early as their first semester, and their experiences will build over the first three years to prepare them for an extensive student teaching experience during their senior year.
