The Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a Specialization in Accounting equips students with the professional knowledge, skills and designation prerequisites to succeed in today’s job market.
The industry-driven program uniquely develops analytical and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, communication and problem solving, and was designed to meet the needs of employers.
The program culminates in a capstone project, which allows students to integrate and apply their financial and managerial accounting knowledge in a practical business scenario. This comprehensive project requires students to demonstrate their expertise by completing an auditing project, reflecting the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program.
Students also gain job-ready competencies, such as ethical leadership and financial decision-making, equipping them to succeed in both entry-level and advanced roles in the field of accounting.
English Proficiency:
- IELTS 6.5+ (or equivalent): Direct enrollment in the regular academic program.
- IELTS 6.0 to <6.5 (or equivalent): Enrollment in the regular program along with the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course in Term 1.
- The EAP course counts toward the degree and incurs no additional cost.

The Bachelor of Business Administration program at Yorkville University is structured in a three-term year. Students first-year tuition will be for three semesters.

Note: Students applying after completing a diploma program or degree program will be considered for ‘block transfer’, which means the entire program is assessed and, if approved, 36 transfer credits will be awarded against the Bachelor of Business Administration Business elective courses. Students whose diploma or degree program included courses in business administration may be awarded up to a total of 60 transfer credits (50% of total credits required in the program, excluding project-based courses). The maximum of 60 transfer credits includes the block transfer. If a student wishes for a ‘block transfer’, or to transfer credits over to the BBA they must provide descriptions for each of the courses they have previously taken.
