Bachelor's degree - Foreign Language

This department offers majors in French, German, and Spanish. Through their courses, students will discover how people in other parts of the world think and express their ideas and beliefs, all while practicing their language of study. Students will learn about the history, customs, and ways of life of different groups and people, and build their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Students will work with native-speaking teaching assistants and students in advanced language courses. Students will practice their communication skills by living in I-Space, the school's international language living and learning area. Then, students will take their learning beyond campus in one of the school's study away programs that offer immersion in French, German, or Spanish culture and language.
