Bachelor of Music (Honours) - Songwriting

From day one, students are encouraged to develop their personal stylistic identity through a variety of disciplines, including solo and group performances, commercial songwriting, and music production for film, television, and online channels. As the course progresses, students can choose options that align with their interests and career goals, shaping them into multi-skilled music professionals valued in today’s industry.

Experienced lecturers, actively working in the industry, will guide students through core topics such as styles and genres, songwriting techniques, musicianship, music publishing, events and releases, and Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) technology. Students will also attend unique and inspiring masterclasses with some of the best artists in the world, helping to push their skills as songwriters.
