About Bachelor of Fine Arts - Fashion Merchandising
Program Description
Brenau’s fashion merchandising program offers a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and a fashion merchandising minor. This interdisciplinary program features a strong business focus combined with fashion and art classes that equip students with hands-on experiences to prepare them for careers in the fashion industry, while maintaining flexibility for the students to customize the program to suit their interests.
Fashion merchandising majors can choose from a variety of fashion careers, working as merchandisers, buyers, managers, wholesalers, marketers, or entrepreneurs. R. Crider’s, My Pool Pal, Southern Proper, and others. Students interested in fashion history are given the opportunity to work in the Brenau Historic Clothing Collection to gain experience managing collections and working with historic garments.
