About Bachelor of Arts - Political Science and Journalism
Political Science is devoted to study of the theory and practice of government and politics. The Political Science Department offers courses in several fields of study, including: Political Theory; American Politics; Public Law; International Relations; Comparative Politics; and Public Policy.
The Bachelor of Arts - Political Science and Journalism is a unique interdisciplinary program that spans the combined areas of Political Science and Journalism.
The University's association with the Washington Center makes it possible for California State University, Sacramento students to undertake an internship in Washington, D.C. There are many opportunities for Government-Journalism majors to do an internship to meet their unique interests through this program.
