Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Digital Media

BA (Hons) Digital Media degree equips students with all the technical and design skills they’ll need to produce original and striking multimedia projects across multiple platforms. Guided by a skilled team, students will develop an understanding of cutting edge practical skills and theories of digital media. They will use specialist facilities including computer suites and professional video and sound recording equipment. Students will have the opportunity to study modules to develop a range of multimedia skills such as digital imaging, computer animation (2D and 3D), web and interactive design, motion graphics and digital entrepreneurship.

This BA (Hons) Digital Media course is designed to enable students to define a creative solution to a specific issue or brief in a number of different professional contexts. In this sense, the skills students will gain are transferable across a wide range of careers. For example, roles that recent graduates have secured include Web Designer, Animator, Food Photographer, 3D CGI Artist, YouTuber, Content Designer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Professional, UX/UI Designer, Design and Marketing Director, Film Producer, Influencer, Motion Designer, and Architectural Designer. Graduates may also go on to undertake a higher degree at Canterbury Christ Church University or elsewhere.
