Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Digital Media

A foundation year helps students develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when they don’t reach the entry requirements for their subject.

This BA (Hons) Digital Media degree equips students with all the technical and design skills they’ll need to produce original and striking multimedia projects across multiple platforms. Guided by a skilled team, students will develop an understanding of the history and theory of digital media. They will use specialist facilities including computer suites and professional video and sound recording equipment. Students will have the opportunity to study modules to develop a range of multimedia skills such as web design, computer animation (2D and 3D), digital imaging, visual communications, motion graphics and digital entrepreneurship.

This BA (Hons) Digital Media course is designed to enable students to define a creative solution to a specific issue or tasks in a number of different professional contexts. In this sense, the skills students will gain are transferable across a wide range of careers. For example, roles that recent graduates have secured include Web Designer, Animator, Food Photographer, 3D CGI Artist, YouTuber, Content Designer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Professional, UX/UI Designer, Design and Marketing Director, Film Producer, Influencer, Motion Designer, and Architectural Designer.
